YG Entertainment has officially announced
Lee Ha Yi and
Epik High's comeback in October.
Epik High had signed with YG Entertainment in July and had been working on their new album until now. This comeback will be their first in three years, during which
Tablo was involved in an academic controversy and the rest of the members had been serving their mandatory military duties.
Tablo released a solo album with YG Ent. last year and during his promotions, he stated that
Epik High will continue to release songs, keeping their color of music.
As for
Lee Ha Yi, after K-Pop Star, she signed a contract with YG Entertainment and has been preparing for both a solo debut and as a member of SuPearls. Even though SuPearls' debut was expected to happen first, it now seems that her solo debut will take place first. JYP has also debuted
Baek Ah Yeon already and
Park Ji Min will debut as a duo through '
15&'.
There is a possibility of Lee Ha Yi and Epik High's October Comeback to be a collaboration, but that has yet to be confirmed.
