Yang Hyun Suk wealthiest celebrity stockholder for 2012

YG Entertainment founder & CEO Yang Hyun Suk was named the wealthiest celebrity stockholder for 2012.

The value of Yang Hyun Suk's stock holdings have increased from 184.7 billion KRW (approximately $173.6 million USD) last year to 219.5 billion KRW (approximately $206.3 million USD). With the increase, he has surpassed SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man, whose stock holdings amounted to 200.1 billion KRW (approximately $188.9 million USD) this year.

In third place was Bae Yong Joon with 23.7 billion KRW (approximately $22.3 million USD).

The 63% increase for Yang Hyun Suk was mainly credited from the worldwide success of Psy's "Gangnam Style".
