MBC confirms cancellation of 'Story Show Widow's Cruse'

This isn't a shocker to most of you, but MBC has confirmed that the rumors about the cancellation of 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' are true.

'Story Show Widow's Cruse' ended with its final broadcast on the 3rd without any farewell announcement or message due to its abrupt cancellation. MBC stated, "For the time being, 'Story Show Widow's Cruse' will be replaced by drama festivals and documentaries. The follow-up program for 'Story Show Widow's Cruse's time slot has not been decided yet. We are currently looking over 3-4 productions to fill in that time slot."

"The one-act dramas end mid-December, so we still have time but not a lot. We can possibly air a previously introduced pilot program or a totally new production. Nothing has been decided yet."

'Story Show Widow's Cruse' first aired as a pilot program on August 1 and eventually returned to replace 'Knee Drop Guru'. However, the show was never able to pick up momentum and achieved an average viewer rating of 2%, putting the show at the bottom of its time slot.
