'You Who Came From the Stars' vs 'Miss Korea': Which new Wed-Thurs drama came out on top?

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the December 19th episode of SBS' 'You Who Came From the Stars' achieved an impressive 18.3% viewer rating for its second episode, which is a 2.7% increase from its first episode's 15.6%. It seems Jun Ji Hyun's return to the small screen in 14 years and her love line with young actor Kim Soo Hyun were enough to hype up the drama to kick it off with very strong ratings.

MBC's 'Miss Korea' fared decently compared to the disappointing run that its predecessor 'Medical Top Team' had, by coming in with a 7.3% viewer rating for its second episode, which is a 0.3% increase from Wednesday's episode of 7.0%. However it's less than half of what 'You Who Came From the Stars' is receiving, so it has quite a bit of catching up to do.

Meanwhile, despite being the only non-new drama this week, KBS 2TV's 'Pretty Man' remained in its slump with a 3.5% viewer rating both days this week.
