In response, 'Ssul Jeon' has revealed that the first half of the upcoming episode next week will be missing the MC due to this missed filming, but that the second half will include pre-recorded footage from before so he will still be seen on the episode.

According to reports, Kim Gu Ra's wife gave her surety [promise by one party to assume responsibility for the debt of a borrower if that borrower cannot fulfill the payment] for her relative's debt to help her family out without Kim Gu Ra's knowing. She ended up being held responsible for the debt, and had tried to take care of this without her husband's knowing by borrowing from acquaintances and loan sharks, only putting her deeper in debt with the growing interest. Kim Gu Ra was reported to have found out about the debt 2 years ago back when the sum amounted to 1.7-1.8 billion KRW (~1.6 million USD).
Kim Gu Ra had previously mentioned his frustration due to something his wife did on broadcast, and his acquaintances have revealed that although he'll joke it off in public, in private, he's been having a really hard time.
A media outlet reported on the 19th, "It has been confirmed that the court notified Kim Gu Ra that they will seize the property of his residence soon through a legal representative... His panic disorder is seen as the result of the debt from his wife's surety."
His agency rep also told Sports DongA, "As reported, it is true that Kim Gu Ra's wife signed a surety of debt. But we haven't heard of the court notification of a seizure of property yet... Kim Gu Ra and his wife currently owes 1.8 billion KRW (~1.6 million USD). Although we don't know the exact amount, a large amount of the debt was being continuously paid off throughout the past couple of years." The agency was hesitant to say that this was what set off the MC's latest panic attacks, but they did say it did probably factor into his stress level.
His agency also stated, "Regaining stability is first priority, so his discharge date from the hospital has not been decided on. It'll be difficult for Kim Gu Ra to attend the recording next monday for 'Ssul Jeon'... However, he has a lot of ambition for broadcast so we think that he will get back on his feet soon. We will watch over the progress of his health, and decide on his return afterwards."
