Ahn Jae Hyun was so worried about doing variety that it took a toll on his body

Ahn Jae Hyun was a part of the press conference for new web variety show 'New Journey to the West 2,' which was held on April 15 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul's Nonhyeon-dong. 

Ahn Jae Hyun began, "When I spoke with Producer Na Young Suk, I was told that Lee Seung Gi put in a good word for me. I was so happy about that. I thought that I wouldn't be able to fill such large shoes. I couldn't sleep before we left and lost 1 to 2 kg (2.2~4.4 lbs)." 

The actor continued, "During the fimling, I lost 3 to 4 kg (6.6~8.8 lbs). I couldn't even sleep because I was constantly thinking about what I should do. But the everyone welcomed me with open arms. They encouraged me by telling me that I'm different from Lee Seung Gi and that our turfs are different. I had many things on my mind but I had fun filming."
