However, Baek Ji Young, Sung Si Kyung, and Yoon Jong Shin have announced that they will not be returning for the 8th season. On July 13, an Mnet associate revealed, "Kim Yeon Woo and Ailee are positively looking into joining the show, while Kim Bum Soo is considering returning as a judge on 'Superstar K 2016'." The first episode of the new season is set to air in August.
