'Superstar K' reported to be coming back in 2018

Despite reports that 'Superstar K' was not happening next year, it looks like it might in fact be coming back.

The audition show took a break in 2017, and Mnet had originally stated that there were no plans of the show to happen in 2018 either. However, Xports News reported that 'Superstar K 2018' was in the works for next year, according to the words of an inside, in a new version and new brand. There are no current confirmations about how the format will be.

Superstar K' started in 2009, and is one of Korea's first audition shows. It's the birthplace of stars such as Seo In Guk, Huh Gak, John Park, Jung Joon Young, Roy Kim, and more. However, lately the show has been suffering in both ratings and attention.
