On May 17, Brand New Music announced that the end of their contract with Sanchez will mark his departure from the agency. Sanchez also took to Instagram to leave a message to his fans on the subject.
Sanchez wrote, "I would like to leave a sudden message to my fans. After 8 years, I am now leaving Brand New Music, a place where they accepted and took good care of me when I was only a country boy from New Zealand. Thank you so much for all these years, CEO Rhymer, and to all the family at Brand New Music. Even after I leave, I will never forget your kindness as I continue to pursue music. Please take care of yourselves. I will now start a long new journey from here, the big-eater Sanchez who was always talkative and tenacious. You will miss me from time to time!"
In English, he also added below, "I would like to give a big huge Thank-You statement to Brand New Music for taking care of my career for past 8 years. Even though we are no longer business partners, I will always bless and cheer Brand New Music's movement and music! My music will go on and I will bring the newness real soon my fans, promise."
Following Sanchez's post, Brand New Music thanked Sanchez's fans, as well as those of his ex-group Phantom, sending support toward Sanchez's future. Best of luck to Sanchez!
