Takeuchi Miyu (22) may be one step closer to her debut in Korea as one of the final 12.
On August 7, 'Produce 48' dropped a surprise video revealing the current rankings of the 30 remaining contestants. Takeuchi Miyu jumped up a whopping 26 spots, landing herself in the top 12.
Takeuchi Miyu, who is a member of AKB48's 9th generation team B, has been using YouTube since 2014 to showcase her skills as a singer/song writer/music producer. Reportedly back in June before the start of 'Produce 48', her YouTube subscriber numbers were around the 29,000s. However, some time after 'Produce 48' began, her subscribers soared up, surpassing 70,000. And then, after the latest few episodes including the second position evaluations, the second rankings and eliminations, etc, Takeuchi Miyu's YouTube officially surpassed 110,000 subscribers - proving the power of 'Produce 48'!
