Seungri addresses rumors about him renting an island for a lavish party

Big Bang's Seungri clarified misunderstandings on his party rumors.
On the August 13 airing of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', Seungri stated, "There are rumors about me renting an island for a party while the other Big Bang members are in the military."
He explained, "I reserved a resort but that turned into a rumor about me renting an island." Seungri continued, "I invited people from every connection I have. The purpose was Seungri's birthday plus network building time. I wanted to share my connections so I provided a place for everyone to meet."
Seungri added, "I introduced a friend who has a furniture business, a friend with an apartment business, a friend who does remodeling in Vietnam... I told them to give me 5% of the proceeds if things work out well. It's a wonderful win-win situation." However, "It turned into a rumor about me having a lavish party, but it's not like that at all."
