MBC responds to reports stating that 'Unexpected Q' will be coming to an end

BY Susan-Han · October 5, 2018

On October 4, various media outlets reported that MBC's Saturday music quiz program 'Unexpected Q' will be coming to an end due to low viewer ratings, after approximately 5 months.

In response, representatives from MBC revealed, "We are currently discussing various options including 'Unexpected Q's time slot change, cancellation, etc. However, nothing is confirmed as of yet."

What is confirmed, is that beginning in the first week of November, the regular Saturday evening time slot taken up by 'Unexpected Q' will be replaced by 'Creative Teen Under Nineteen'.

'Unexpected Q', MC-ed by Lee Soo Geun, Jun Hyun Moo, Eun Ji Won, Yoo Se Yoon, and Seventeen's Seungkwan, began as 'Infinity Challenge's replacement program in May of this year.
