BTS beat their own record for the K-pop artist with the best first day sales on Oricon chart

BTS is making new records with 'Fake Love/Airplane pt.2.'
On November 7, BTS dropped their 9th Japanese single 'Fake Love/Airplane pt.2.' The new release sold a total of 327,342 copies on the first day - making BTS the K-pop artist with the best first-day singles sales on Japan's Oricon chart.
Previously, the record was held by BTS' 'MIC Drop/DNA/Crystal Snow' album which sold a total of 269,861 copies on the first day of release.
'Fake Love/Airplane pt.2' contains a Japanese version of "Airplane pt.2," as well as the Japanese and stadium remix versions of "Fake Love" and "IDOL."
