'Jojoba oil' enters top real-time search because of BTS' Jungkook

'Jojoba oil' became a top searched phrase on portal sites because of Jungkook.

On February 22, Jungkook chatted with fans via BTS' official fan cafe. While having a casual talk about lunch, weather, exercise, and more, fans asked Jungkook about the jojoba oil he mentioned in a recent Naver V Live broadcast. 

During the live streaming on j-hope's birthday, Jungkook showed off his glistening face and revealed, "I'm wearing jojoba oil." 

Many fans asked about the product. Jungkook did not reveal the exact product but dropped hints, saying, "It's [the brand of the jojoba oil] is 4 letters."

Based on Jungkook's hint, fans frantically searched for the jojoba oil used by Jungkook. Due to their immense attention, 'jojoba oil' ultimately entered the top real-time searches. 

In January, a similar phenomenon occurred with a fabric softener. 'Downy's 'Adorable' sold out after Jungkook mentioned it during a chat with fans.
