DIA deny rumors Jenny is leaving the group

DIA have been surrounded with rumors about Jenny's departure from the group once again.

Jenny is said to be sitting out on promotions for DIA's latest album 'Newtro' and title track "Woowa" due to a knee injury, and the DIA members addressed rumors she'd be leaving the girl group at their showcase on March 20. Jooeun commented, "There was a delay in the news of Jenny's break, and it wasn't released quickly. Fans got worried. It took time to release the news about Jenny because we had to think about the decision sincerely."

She explained, "Our choreography this time around is more powerful and includes more movement than previous dances. While preparing together, Jenny's knees got worse, and we thought it could get more severe. After discussion, we decided to respect her decision, so she can focus on recovering."

As previously reported, Jenny has been diagnosed with chondromalacia patellae (runner's knee), which is damage to the cartilage beneath the kneecap.
