DSP Media confirms official disbandment of boy group A-JAX

BY Dani-Dee · March 31, 2019

A-JAX has disbanded after seven years together.

On March 31, their agency DSP Media took to the group's official fan cafe to announce the news, stating: "The five members of A-JAX are going their separate ways after the expiration of their contract today."

They continued by explaining that the members do intend on remaining active in the entertainment industry and asked fans to continue supporting their respective careers.

A-JAX debuted as a seven member group back in 2012 with the single "ONE 4 U." In 2016, members Jihu, Sungmin, and Jaehyung departed from the group, and new member Junghee joined. In 2017, Junghee and Seungjin appeared on the KBS audition program 'The Unit,' where they were eliminated within the first half of the competition. Junhee has since enlisted in the military.

Meanwhile, A-JAX's final performance as a five-member group was held on January 28 in Japan.
