Eddy Kim removed from 'Green Plugged Seoul 2019' lineup after chatroom controversy

Singer Eddy Kim has been removed from the lineup for the upcoming concert 'Green Plugged Seoul 2019'.

On April 5, 'Green Plugged Seoul' announced on Facebook, "We acknowledge the gravity and severity of the ongoing controversy and decided to cancel the appearance of Eddy Kim. We also confirmed with his agency Mystic Entertainment. We'll take measures quickly, so the festival can take place smoothly in the future. We'll do our best to give back to the audience with great performances."

Eddy Kim was recently confirmed as a member of Jung Joon Young and Seungri's controversial chatroom, where members exchanged illegal media including hidden camera footage of women. He's now been booked on charges for violating information protection laws and for sharing illegal footage along with Jung Joon Young, Seungri, Roy Kim, and former F.T. Island member Jonghun.
