Netizens have been leaving new comments for BTS following their interview in America.
As reported, BTS recently sat down with 'CBS Sunday Morning' to talk about their recent achievements and future plans, even landing on sensitive topics such as the issue of mandatory military enlistment. When netizens witnessed BTS members replying with confidence that they will be "ready to respond and do [their] best" when duty calls, new related articles surfaced more than ever, now overflowing with comments asking BTS to be exempt from service.
Some top-voted comments read,
"They [BTS] enhance the national prestige even more than Oh Ji Hwan (a controversial South Korean baseball player who received exemption as a sports representative), so you should give them an exemption. There are so many 'dummies' (who were exempt) that don't even do anything LOL"
"Give BTS an exemption"
"Times like these, I feel bad that they are men. I wish I could go instead of them. Sigh, I should just accept it as fate and wait for them. I support you!"

Other comments include:
"I'm a man in my 30s, and, as a human, I wish BTS would be exempt.. I can feel it with my own skin that they are enhancing this country's reputation."
"Son Heung Min and BTS should be exempt. Isn't there too much of a national profit at stake here?"

Once again, the irony of their fandom name 'ARMY' resurfaced, some still alluding to the need for BTS to protect the country "while ARMY protects BTS." What do you think of this issue?
