hyukoh under fire for canceling their appearance just minutes before going on stage

Band hyukoh is under fire for canceling their appearance at the last minute. 

On May 15, hyukoh was invited to perform at a festival at Dankook University. The band was scheduled to go on stage after ballad singer Jung Seung Hwan. After an hour of setting up the instruments, the 3 members Lim Dong Gun, Lin Hyun Jae, and Lee In Woo came on stage, and said to the audience, "Oh Hyuk is sick. We don't think we can perform." They then left after apologizing. 

The abrupt cancelation has become a hot topic in online communities. Some are showing understanding, while others are criticizing the band for lacking professionalism. 

Comments stated, "How can he perform when he's sick? He probably waited until he felt better but ultimately decided he couldn't. Let's not bash him until we get an official statement." Another comment said, "They should've explained why and how Oh Hyuk is sick to the audience who waited for a long time."

hyukoh's agency has yet to release an official statement on the issue. Meanwhile, the band is scheduled to attend the Inha University festival tomorrow on May 16.
