At the moment, Korea University students are quite displeased with the amount of money that was spent in holding this year’s festival.
Approximately $250,000 has been spent in total for expenses, including the expenses for getting popular K-Pop stars to perform such as Kim YeonWoo, SEVENTEEN, Lovelyz, ChungHa, 10CM, and Daybreak.
Students have pointed out that rival school Yonsei University managed to spend only around $130,00 for their festival, despite having their own star-studded lineup including Red Velvet, Zico, IU, Beenzino, and TWICE.
And once students discovered that the school and the cheerleaders rejected Henry’s offer to perform for free, based on the reason that he didn’t fit the concept of the festival’s theme, they’ve been infuriated even more.
According to the school’s newspaper, the concept of this year’s festival was “movies”.
