On September 17 at 9 a.m. KST, B.I (22)went in for questioning at the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency under the status of someone with information about a case. Following inquiries about matters such as B.I allegedly purchasing marijuana from an acquaintance in 2016 and using it, according to some media reports B.I admitted to some suspicions. But the charges he admitted to are not known.
After over 14 hours, 20 mins of questioning, B.I exited the police station at around 11:30 p.m. And he only answered a question by mediaabout what he wanted to say to his fans. He stated, "I'm sorry to disappoint you."
However, the police office hasn't released any official statements about the investigation details and results.According to previous report in the morning, a police official said, "We don`t want to reveal any details of the matter because it is under investigation.”
Police and prosecutors are being more careful about the privacy of investigations due to recent media privacy violations and crimes.The informant "A" and B.I participated in the investigation unaware of the media for two consecutive days. The police haven't released the details or conclusion officially yet.
In addition to this, some reports claimed that Yang Hyun Suk will soon be called in for questioning as part of the investigation into suspicions of intimidating the informant in 2016 who first brought up B.I’s drug-related suspicions and therefore blocking the police investigation.
