BTS Jimin's dance part in "Boy With Luv" for BBMAs stage went viral recently onDouyin. Douyin is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance, a Beijing-based company founded in 2012 by Zhang Yiming. It is used to create short dance, lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos. Douyin is also known as the Chinese version of Tiktok.
Jimin's hip dance challenge or known as the "Dynamic twist hip dance" went viral thus leading famous Chinese celebrity such as Zhang Ting, famous Chinese tiktokers and non-kpop fans to join the challenge. Currently one of the challenge recorded to have over 900 million views and over 745k likes on the app. The clip was dubbed with a song by Kesha, an American singer-songwriter called "Take it off"

The fancam also trended in several other countries. Currently the fancam has 6.7M views on YouTube. Jimin also recorded to trend in over 33 countries with over 2M mentions on Twitter during BBMAs.
