Viral Jimin and Brad Pitt Comparison Makes Its Way to Mexican Television

BTS Jimin's immense global popularity scores him yet another mention on the popular daytime media.

Popular Mexican talk show "Cuentamelo Ya!" dedicated a segment to talk about Korean media comparing Jimin with acclaimed and Oscar-nominated American actor Brad Pitt.

Host Sofia Escobar proclaimed, "Both have become the platonic love for millions of girls. Yes, the 21st century Brad Pitt has now emerged." An immense honor indeed to anoint Jimin as the equivalent heartthrob for this generation.

Korean media has popularized coverage of this resemblance all the way to rookie-era Bangtan in 2014, where a photographer for TenAsia remarked that Jimin resembles a young Brad Pitt circa his movie A River Runs Through It.

Even star of the KBS reality-variety show The Return of Superman, New Zealand actor Sam Hammington pointed out the uncanny similarities between the two, when he declared Jimin as his BTS bias.

With Korean, Mexican, and New Zealand media personalities contributing to this hot topic, we have to wonder if Jimin will make the foray into acting just like Brad Pitt.
