Parents of Microdot & Sanchez deported after serving prison sentences for fraud

The parents of Microdot and Sanchez have left Korea after serving their prison sentences for fraud.

Previously, Microdot and Sanchez' parents Shin and Kim were officially charged with fraud for scamming 14 individuals in between 1990 and 1998, and they were imprisoned in May of 2020. Shin and Kim are said to have borrowed 300 million Won ($265,385.94 USD) from 14 people while they ran a dairy farm in Jecheon, Chunbuk from 1990 to 1998 and fled to New Zealand without paying back the loans.

According to reports on June 18, the couple were immediately deported to New Zealand after serving their prison sentences.

In other news, Microdot recently released his second album 'My Story' in the midst of criticism.
