Former FIESTAR member Yezi cancels upcoming online concert due to rapid rise in COVID-19 cases

Singer Yezi's upcoming online concert has been cancelled.

On July 19th, JG Star Entertainment announced that Yezi and DJ OZGREEN's online concert 'EDM X "YEZI X OZGREEN" ONLINE LIVE & TALK EVENT' which was scheduled to be held on August 14, has been canceled due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in Korea.

Here is JG Star Entertainment's official statement:

"Hello, this is JG Star.

This is in response to Yezi and DJ OZGREEN's online concert 'EDM X "YEZI X OZGREEN" ONLINE LIVE & TALK EVENT', scheduled for August 14th.

With the recent rapid spread of COVID-19, the Seoul metropolitan area has been upgraded to Level 4, the highest level of severity. Considering the worsening situation of COVID-19, the concert schedule has ben inevitably canceled.

Although 'EDM X "YEZI X OZGREEN" ONLINE LIVE & TALK EVENT' is an online performance, we decided to cancel the performance for the safety of our artists and staff. We ask for your generous understanding.

The details related to the refund process will be announced through additional guidelines. We hope things can get better as soon as possible, and we apologize to the fans who have been waiting for Yezi and DJ OZGREEN's online concert 'EDM X "YEZI X OZGREEN" ONLINE LIVE & TALK EVENT'. We will try to return with an improved concert as soon as possible.
