
Top trot singer Song Ga In has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to her agency Pocketdol Studio, the singer visited the hospital on August 28 after beginning to not feel well, and soon after she received a COVID-19 test, she found out that she tested positive for the virus.
In the afternoon of August 29, she was moved into isolation at a medical facility in accordance with health protocol. The agency then asked for fans' understanding in response to the worrisome news.
Meanwhile, Song Ga In is scheduled to appear as a judge on JTBC's upcoming variety program 'Punglyu Daejang: Battle of the Hip Traditional Singers' next month. The agency has yet to announce how her COVID-19 diagnosis will affect this schedule.
