Disney Plus’ first original Korean drama 'Rookie Cops' finally aired the first kiss between Kang Daniel and Chae Soo Bin on February 16.

'Rookie Cops' character Wi Seung Hyun, played by Kang Daniel, and Go Eun Kang, played by Chae Soo Bin, slowly fell for each other over the course of several episodes. After many trials and adventures together, sparks began to fly and they became increasingly attracted to each other. Seung Hyun fell for Eun Kang’s kindness and her impulse to help those around her. Eun Kang resolved her long-time crush on someone else in the realization that Seung Hyun was someone she was comfortable with, a kind man who was always by her side supporting her.
At long last, in episode 8, Eun Kang finally decided to confess her feelings towards Seung Hyun. But as she began her confession, Seung Hyun interrupted her with his own confession. She quickly reciprocated the feelings towards him. He kissed her and pulled back to observe her response.
As fireworks exploded in the background, Seung Hyun went in for a deeper and longer kiss that continued until the episode ended.

Online reactions to the kiss were enthusiastic, particularly for witnessing the first on-screen kiss of Kang Daniel, who made his acting debut in this drama:

With the first kiss between the friends-turned-lovers closing the first act, the second act will soon begin.
The second act will involve an abnormal situation that has been brewing. A former police academy student who had been killed after his involvement in an undercover operation was revealed to be connected directly to Seung Hyun’s best friend and roommate, played by Lee Shin Young. Another student, played by Park Yoo Na, has also been caught up in the situation. In the meantime, stills previewing episode 9 and 10 feature the students training in and out of school from profiling to field training as they level up to become real officers.
