Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios' upcoming animation 'Turning Red' has already become a huge topic.
In the interview with Billboard Japan, the director of the anime Domee Shi made a statement that surprised people.
She stated that she created the characters of '4 ★ TOWN', which is a 5-member group, based on BIGBANG and 2PM since she's a huge fan of both groups.
Billboard Japan stated that Domee Shi was inspired by the legends who paved the way for today's Korean idol boom.
Meanwhile, the highly anticipated animation 'Turning Red' will be released on March 11.
