Former April member Chaekyung ends her contract with DSP Media

Former April member Chaekyung has ended her contract with DSP Media.

On April 22, DSP Media announced, "We've been discussing our artist Yoon Chaekyung's future activities. After a long discussion, we're respecting Chaekyung's desire to challenge herself in a different place, and we've mutually decided to end her exclusive contract on April 20, 2022."

Chaekyung is the next member to part ways with the label following Chaewon and Yena. April officially disbanded this past January after bullying allegations involving former member Hyunjoo.
