Japanese media is overflowing with praise for Jimin on account of his incredible talents and charming personality.
On the 4th of April, Japanese lifestyle magazine Madame Figaro shared an editorial about Jimin titled it 'LOVE BTS, LOVE Jimin'. The piece explored Jimin's beautiful existence, irresistible charms, and incredible dance skills.
The writer began by expressing a fascination with Jimin whose charm no one can resist. Although a lover of Korean movies the writer admitted to being completely hooked on Jimin despite not having familiarity with K-Pop at all and then proceeded to talk about his dance.

Jimin was described as a beautiful dancer for his contemporary dance experience. From Hip Hop Jazz, Latin to Ballet, those who have formally studied dance are sensitive to the movement of the feet. When you look at Jimin's feet, the way he steps, the direction of his feet, everything seems to be calculated and beautifully executed so that he can move from one movement to the next. He never makes the next step with force but stealthily and it is his inherent physical flexibility that helps many parts of dance. It is therefore important to watch and appreciate feet placement.

"Jimin's dance [..] is beautiful in its sensual, gravity-defying, airy appearance"
"Jimin is cool, beautiful and pretty in existence" pic.twitter.com/tXQiEP2XNk
Like legendary figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu who admitted to being inspired by Jimin's dance, the article talked about Jimin's captivating neck movement. The slight tilt of the head and swing of the head are described as adding a decorative and theatrical aspect in overall dance moves. It is this attention to detail that adds a sensual, gravity-defying, and airy quality to Jimin's dance.
“Jimin is so flexible, slender and has delicate body lines that makes his technique even more fascinating. I’m learning cool moves [like jimin’s] not only from the skating field but also from outside of skating”

While BTS is known for their coordinated and synchronized execution of choreography when dancing, a look at the details reveals each members individuality. Out of all, Jimin's dance was singled out as the most appealing because he has the most basic dance skills engrained in his body. While researching about BTS choreography, channels like Amo-ni-Maiku and Yamakai TV who do classical ballet dance analyses also highly favored Jimin.
The next topic of discussion was about Jimin's gorgeous visuals. He was described as cool, beautiful and pretty in existence. For one to be deemed attractive we do not only rely on the golden ratio of the face or eyes. One should always make an effort to make their skin appear beautiful and also change the face expression in order to make a lovely impression with hair and makeup done tastefully and with ingenuity for a fashionable look. Indeed Jimin has been praised for a beauty that transcends all standards and sucks in whoever beholds it.
BTS and Jimin's colorful and happy production was described as chic especially when they try different hair colors like in ON and Boy With Luv, songs which start with Jimin's vocals. Jimin's sky blue hair in ON was a favorite because it seemed to melt into the blue of the blue sky. In particular, during the middle of the video when he reaches to the sky and the camera follows him down to a scene showing his intense movements, this was enough to drive the writer crazy. ON is the first song that is performed at the BTS Permission To Dance live concerts and it passes an important message for fans to be as attractive as they want using their own efforts.
The charms of BTS and Jimin are too many to mention and it is among the reasons why film director Gus Van Sant expressed his wish to work with Jimin because of his peaceful aura. The writer, who as earlier mentioned, is a movie buff expressed pride in Jimin's self-written and composed song Friends being used in Chloe Zhao's movie Eternals. The director even said that she thought jimin was very cute and the writer was happy at the fact that directors admire and pay close attention to jimin. The writer expressed the highest form of love for Jimin by saying that Jimin and sweet were synonymous with each other adding that they will continue to watch over Jimin and BTS with boundless love.
K media said, master movie director, Gus Van Sant who made Elephant, Good Will Hunting, Idaho wants to work with Jimin @BTS_twt. In the interview with magazine i-D, he said ”.. I see people that have a kind of peaceful thing... and right now that person would be Jimin from BTS..” pic.twitter.com/yHCgCq9vIi

👩🏻That’s one of my favorite BTS songs, and I like Jimin, and yeah I think he is really cute umm *blush* I just said it pic.twitter.com/T4EQOpfbAO
The article concluded by touching on BTS' Grammy performance which was elaborate and amazing with a theme of an 007 movie-style production. Jimin's performance and how he whisked around his jacket perfectly was compared to his elegant Korean traditional piece for Idol when he held a fan.
