LE SSERAFIM's Kazuha Nakamura and Korean actor Yoon HyunMin say BTS's Jimin is their inspiration

On the 12th of May, during a Weverse interview with the newly debuted group LE SSERAFIM, member Kazuha Nakamura revealed why Jimin is a great inspiration for her. In an interview excerpt, Kazuha revealed that she submitted a dance cover of BTS' hit song Dynamite and another video of her doing ballet for the auditions.

Kazuha explained that the reason for choosing Dynamite was because its dance break appeared really cool, and she wanted to try it. It greatly impressed her while getting ready for the audition, and although every member seemed to be cool with their own style, BTS Jimin's beautiful dancing appealed to her the most. In particular, observing how he was able to balance classical dance with K-POP choreography so well made her really interested in performing.

Kazuha Nakamura is a singer, rapper, and ballerina under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE and along with her members, debuted with the EP Fearless on the 2nd of May 2022. She joins ENHYPEN'S Ni-ki, Jay, and Sunghoon, as well as TXT's Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Huening Kai, as fellow artists under HYBE who have chosen Jimin as a role model.

In past Weverse interviews, Jay said that he made Jimin a role model when doing K-POP choreography because of his superb expression, while Ni-ki, who performed a cover of Lie, said, "Lie is a song that makes you feel better everytime you dance because the movements of modern dance are similar to jazz dance," adding that while doing the cover he becomes eager to show a wonderful figure like Jimin.

Thanks to his vast dance background and his ability to interpret it into K-POP choreography, Jimin has sparked attention and received praise from industry legends, the media, and fellow idols. The most notable ones include Olympic medalist figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, NHK Gold figure skating medalists Tim Koleto & Misato Komatsubara, Mariinsky theatre professional ballet dancer Maria Khoreva, renowned English contemporary & dance theatre choreographer Sir Matthew Bourne, choreographers and dancers Brian Puspos & Nicky Anderson, Music critic Lim Jinmo, entertainer Lee Yoonseok, professional ballet dancer Yamakai and more.

In the same way, a number of seniors in the industry continue to shower Jimin with love and admiration. During the latest episode of The Return of Superman, Actor and former professional Baseball player Yoon Hyun Min told Hyorin, the daughter of baseball player Kim Tae Gyun that he liked BTS and especially Jimin. This is the first time that he has mentioned Jimin, but as for Hyorin, she revealed in previous instances that Jimin is her bias and said that she has pictures of him in her room.
