
Weki Meki's Suyeon has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to an official statement released through Weki Meki's fan cafe, one of the actors Suyeon is working with on the musical 'Bungee Jumping Of Their Own' came down with the virus on June 19 KST. As a result, the idol immediately took a rapid antigen test, testing negative. However, early in the morning on June 20, she began experiencing body aches and tested positive through a second rapid antigen test.
Suyeon is currently not experiencing any other symptoms aside from slight body aches. However, she is focusing on treatment and recovery in accordance with the guidelines of the COVID-19 quarantine authorities. The other Weki Meki members have tested for the virus using home kits and have all tested negative.
As a result of her virus status, her appearance in 'Bungee Jumping Of Their Own' has been delayed. Fantagio Music will announce her revised schedule as soon as it is known.
The agency ended the statement by apologizing for causing concern to her fans and vowed to focus on her recovery.
