Spire Entertainment and its CEO Kang Seong Hee have come under heavy criticism recently for verbal and physical abuse towards boy group OMEGA X.
Now, Chilean K-Pop journalist Rebecca Medina has taken to her Twitter to expose how OMEGA X staff allegedly treated a Chilean translator hired for the group's concert in Santiago, Chile.
According to the Chilean journalist, the translator Fernanda Burgos suffered verbal and physical abuse from OMEGA X staff. It starts with a condescending question: "AND THIS IS THE TRANSLATOR" (NOT KOREAN). Suddenly, the threats from the staff will start: "YOU CAN'T LOOK AT THE GUYS," "YOU CAN'T GET CLOSE TO THEM." Things then escalated when a manager roughly grabbed the translator by the arm and said, "WE NEED TO TALK." Despite requests from the translator to release her, the woman allegedly grabbed her even more aggressively.
At the end of the Tweet, the journalist revealed that the translator, Burgos began to cry because she could not stand the verbal and physical abuse.
I'm doing this even knowing my chances of working with OMEGA X will be 0 in the future.

Fernanda Burgos is a well known interpreter in Chile, she even speaks 3 languages. So her payment should have been better.
She took the job out of a favor. Her payment was for 3hr out of 10
Every word that came from the manager were intentionally condescending. She never looked at her and always treated her in a way that Fer could only cry.

Fer was worked with korean people for 5 years, because she is also a singer.
But the staff, as she said: "was awful"
If the staff is rude with people they don't know, imagine whta they do to the boys.

Fernanda told me the group were the nicest people she ever met (she has worked with plenty) but the staff were the issue.
She got abused by people she didn't know. This can't happen again.
When Fernanda only followed their orders.

And about the issue of OMEGA X leaving Chile... That statement is half lies.
But that's other issue.
