Forbes says Jungkook is a “POP HITMAKER,” praising his impressive solo success on Billboard Charts this year

BTS’s Jungkook’s solo songs have seen massive success on Billboard charts as he ventured out with solo music this year. 

Forbes magazine has released a new article highlighting how successful 2022 has been for his solo releases and mentioning that he has made history as the first Korean and Kpop soloist on many charts after releasing solo music for the first time.

Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s collab Left And Right has been the most successful collab by a Kpop soloist so far in the U.S., and Jungkook has become the only Kpop and Korean soloist to reach the top 10 in US BB Airplay charts in a decade.  

The collab has reached historical success, becoming one of the biggest and highest-reaching tracks by a Korean musician in U.S. history.

Jungkook, who is globally known as Kpop Royalty, has played a massive role in propelling Left And Right to the success it enjoys today. The hype around everything Jungkook does and releases made the song a viral hit, with streams and sales remaining stable on all platforms thanks to his massive fanbase and the adoring general public.

His first solo effort this year, Stay Alive, also saw unprecedented success for Korean/Kpop soloists on Billboard charts and made Jungkook the first BTS member to score a Top Ten Hit on said Charts. The overall success of Stay Alive was unlike anything that came before it and gave  Jungkook numerous Kpop and Korean soloist records.
