Global K-pop fans have come together to pre-order and stream Jiae’s solo debut album due to her being a bisexual soloist

K-pop fans are coming together to support former WA$$UP member Jiae!

In 2021, disbanded girl group WA$$UP’s main vocal Jiae made headlines in 2022 when she revealed that she liked both men and women. She also revealed that she had a girlfriend.

On October 8th, she finally released her long-awaited 1st Mini Album ‘Love is Love’ on digital platforms. The project was crowdfunded with money from fans on the Makestar website due to her not being able to find a company to sign her after she revealed her sexuality.

Fans are now coming together to help stream and pre-order the album to support her as an LGBT artist in such a tough industry. They are also applauding her for helping to compose and write the songs on the mini album as an independent artist with no label.

There are currently tweets with 28K likes (at the time of writing) giving her support. Many fans are praising the album, and fans of popular groups are adding it to their streaming playlists on apps such as Spotify.

Jiae is a k-idol from an ext group. Since she came out as bisexual, she's been being rejected by agencies and so she's releasing her solo 💿 by herself. Nov 3rd, consider listening to support her.
There's a reason idols don't come out. Let's give❤️ to the ones who decide to pic.twitter.com/luI2tDH1eI
