aespa, Aiki, and TXT took home the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award.
On November 24th, the '2022 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards' hosted by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and sponsored by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KCCA) took place in Seoul.
The 'Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards' is an annual awards show where the government recognizes excellent figures in popular entertainment who contributed to the advancement of South Korea's culture and arts. Every year, a total of 20 teams are selected to receive the commendation awards including the Order of Culture Merit (6 awards), the President's Award (6 awards), the Prime Minister's Award (8 awards), and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Award (9 awards).
This year, voice actor Kim Young Sun, writer Han Sung Won, actress Jeon Mi Do, Kim Sun Young, choreographer Aiki, comedian Hong Hyun Hee, aespa, Paul Kim, and TXT received the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Awards.
The label representatives received the awards on behalf of aespa and TXT on this day. Congratulations to all the winners!
