On the December 18 episode of 'PSICK Show' hosted by viral YouTubers PSICK Univ, GOT7's BamBam was invited as a special guest.
The conversation started with BamBam talking about how GOT7 was initially GOT6 not including him, as well as his experiences in Korea, before the topic about his conscription lottery for Thailand military. In Thailand, while there is a conscription system for men turning 21 years old, it is done through a yearly lottery system where the citizens have to physically pick a ball from a lottery box. Picking a red ball would mean you would be conscripted, while black exempts you from the military.
BamBam was lucky enough to not have to pick the ball as the number of required volunteers have been fulfilled before his turn. In this show, he talked further about what he felt at that moment, "I think it was the best experience in my life, [...] I was super excited." He also adds, while on one hand he does want to go, "At that time, my sister was still studying, I wanted to work more so it's more stable for my family," showing his responsibility and care for his family and younger sister.
