Hit movie 'Miss Granny' confirmed for drama remake

The hit 2014 movie 'Miss Granny' is returning as a drama.

On March 3, reports confirmed 'Miss Granny' is being remade into a drama series starring Jung Ji So. The film about a granny who suddenly returns to her 20-year-old form has seen multiple remakes in countries like China, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The upcoming K-drama will follow Oh Doo Ri (played by Jung Ji So), a woman in her 70s, who decides to chase her dream of becoming a singer after returning to her 20-year-old body. It's set to start filming in the first half of 2023.
