Former 5dolls and Co-ed School member Huh Chanmi recently brought shock when she confessed that she encountered a murderer in high school.
Huh Chanmi appeared on the MBC variety talk show 'Tongue Mixed Martial Arts - Setchi Tongue,' which aired on May 2. The MBC variety show program invites various individuals to share the most shocking stories that happened in their life.
Huh Chanmi began sharing the story by saying, "It happened when I was in high school. I was waiting for a bus at a bus stop with two friends late at night when a man dressed in shabby clothes covered with dirt appeared. That man asked us 'Girls, why are you doing out so late at night, not going home? It's dangerous if you go around late at night.'"
She continued, "After hearing those words, I felt bad and slightly scared. So I thought, I shouldn't reply and stayed still. We just kept waiting for the bus and he asked again, 'Do you know OO?' I thought 'What the heck? why is he keep talking to us? should we run away?' That's when the bus came and we quickly got on the bus. Luckily, he didn't get on the bus with us."
Huh Chanmi continued her story, saying, "I got curious so I looked out the window. I think he watched us walk into the bus. When I looked, he came close to the window that I was sitting by. He smiled and began doing a gesture that was weird." The man was making movements as if he is stabbing something.
Huh Chanmi shared that she got so scared and called the police. When she went to school the next day, many police cars filled her school field. She continued to enter the school, and there were detectives in the hallway. The detective showed her a photo of a man. She shared, "The detective showed me a photo and I confirmed that he was wearing the same thing. And the detective said he was the main murder suspect they were looking for."
She continued, "The incident was shocking and famous in the area at the time. He dismembered his victims' bodies after murdering them. The names that he asked us if we knew them or not were the names of his victims."
Huh Chanmi concluded the story by saying, "Luckily the man was caught a few days later and I was happy to share information about the suspect."
Meanwhile, Huh Chanmi debuted in 2010 with the idol group Co-ed School. Then in 2011, she became part of 5dolls, which was a unit group formed from the female members of Co-ed School. After the group disbanded, Huh Chanmi garnered much attention when she appeared on Mnet's 'Produce 101'.
