Counterfeit concert ticket scalper who scammed fans of IU, Younha, 10cm, Young Tak, and more sentenced to a year & 6 months in prison

A counterfeit concert ticket scalper who was found to have scammed fans of countless musicians such as IU, Park Hyo Shin, Younha, 10cm, Young Tak, Ailee, Jaurim, HYNN, and more has been sentenced to a year and 6 months in prison for fraud. 

An investigation surrounding this scammer was launched some time earlier this year, as a result of the music label M.Y. Music working with victims to report the issue to the police. A number of victims first contacted M.Y. Music in December of 2022, after discovering that multiple people had been transferred tickets with the same seat number for Dear Cloud's Christmas concert. The same issue occurred in January for Jung Joon Il's winter concert, once again causing a disturbance in the performance.

As the management label of Dear Cloud and Jung Joon Il, M.Y. Music worked with the victims involved in the scam by reporting the scammer. M.Y. Music now intends on filing a lawsuit against the scammer for damages.
