FIFTY FIFTY file for provisional injunction to suspend their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT

All four members of the girl group FIFTY FIFTY have filed for a provisional injunction to suspend their exclusive contract with their agency, ATTRAKT. The members claim that their reputation has been damaged. The legal representative of the group has stated that various issues with the agency, such as non-transparent settlements and unilateral attempts to enforce contracts despite health conditions, prompted this action.

On June 28 KST, law firm Barun announced, 

"The 4 members filed an injunction to suspend the exclusive contract on June 19 through their legal representatives to the Seoul Central District Court, and the trial is currently in progress. This measure was taken because the ATTRAKT side violated the contract and caused the destruction of trust.

The members did not respond as the trial was in progress. The legal representatives pointed out various problems and sent a letter requesting correction, but ATTRAKT did not try to respond to the demands, and through continuous media reports, they are damaging the reputation of the members.

The four members have been trying to think and act independently despite their young age. Even so, while ATTRAKT couldn't clearly explain the violation of the contract, they didn't listen to the members' voices, saying it was an 'extortion attempt by an outside force', and arbitrarily disclosing the reason for the member's surgery without consulting the parties. The members have been very disappointed and frustrated.

The members raised issues about various circumstances in which ATTRAKT did not fulfill their contractual obligations, such as the non-transparent settlement and the unilateral attempt to enforce it despite revealing a health condition that made it difficult to perform. We would like to make it clear that the four members made the independent decision in unison.
The members are well aware of how important this time is, and they are well aware of the concern of many people around them. We request that from here on, ATTRAKT no longer damage the reputation of the FIFTY FIFTY members."
