'Squid Game 2' has made a public apology for the controversy surrounding their recent filming at an airport.
On July 11, an unnamed netizen posted a complaint about 'Squid Game 2' filming at the Incheon International Airport that's since spread online. According to the poster, a staff member had restricted people from using a public escalator while filming for the Netflix drama series, and instead of asking politely, the staff member allegedly told them in a rude tone, "Go back."
A rep from 'Squid Game 2' has now apologized for the matter, stating, "We saw the post about a citizen who was uncomfortable during filming for 'Squid Game' season 2 at Incheon International Airport on July 10 KST. We tried our best to inform the public in detail about the situation on site during filming. We apologize for making people uncomfortable. We sincerely thank those who understood the filming, and we'll be even more careful during filming in the future."
