The Drug Crime Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police has additionally booked 4 individuals for violating the Narcotics Control Act, believed to be affiliated with the latest case involving musician G-Dragon (35).
Currently, 5 individuals have been booked as of October 26 KST, including 4 who are suspected of illegal drug use, and 1 suspected of supplying acquaintances with illegal drugs.
According to new details revealed on this day, one of the booked individuals is a physician, 'A', suspected of supplying celebrities and customers at a private, VIP nighttime establishment with illegal drugs "at no cost".
This establishment, targeting customers of the most elite, upper class, is known to have had actor Lee Sun Gyun as a regular customer. Although G-Dragon did not seem to have frequented the establishment, police still suspect that Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon both obtained illegal drugs through a common supplier, 'A'.
Furthermore, 5 other individuals are currently facing internal investigations for suspected involvement in this stream of cases, including an employee of the VIP establishment, a former idol trainee, a 3rd-generation chaebol heiress, and more.
