Idol-turned-actress Lee Suji and actor Go Hyung Woo have officially tied the knot!
The couple were wed on October 7 in Seoul, with congratulatory songs performed by Seventeen's Seungkwan and members of Lee Suji's former group The Ark. Lee Suji's former groupmates from 'The Unit' project group Uni.T were also in attendance, as well other celebrity acquaintances like the members of VIVIZ.
Lee Suji first revealed she was getting married in September, writing in a public letter to fans: "For me, as a person who wanted to meet someone like my father since I was young, my husband-to-be has fatherly affection and a delicate and warm heart. [...] To someone like me who is awkward in expressing feelings, you showed me how to express love, demonstrated a selfless and nurturing love first, and taught me that real happiness can be found in small things. You've turned my life, which used to revolve around movies, into a romantic comedy film day by day."
Go Hyung Woo also wrote a similar message, saying, "I'm getting married to a loving, warm, beautiful, and young bride. I still can't believe the fact that such a perfect companion promised to be with me for a lifetime. Someone who sincerely believed in me – someone who had nothing – and followed me. She is truly an incredible and appreciated person in my life."
The morning after the wedding, Lee Suji took to social media to share a photo of flowers gifted to her, writing, "Early this morning, there was a bouquet of flowers and a letter left outside the door by my mother and father. They left a message saying, 'You did well to get married.' Many people congratulated us, and I will contact each and every one of them soon. I love you."
