G-Dragon and actor Lee Sun Gyun have been officially banned from leaving Korea due to their drug investigations.
On October 27, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation team confirmed the two stars' travel bans were approved by the Ministry of Justice following police request. G-Dragon and Lee Sun Gyun will soon be undergoing drug tests to determine the type of drugs allegedly used and length of use, but reports say they've been booked on the charges of illegally using marijuana and psychotropics.
As previously reported, the police have already confiscated the phone of the head of the Gangnam adult entertainment business, where dealers and users allegedly made connections. The call records and messages will be used to confirm evidence against G-Dragon and Lee Sun Gyun as well as investigate additional suspects.
In related news, G-Dragon has released an official statement denying the allegations of illegal drug use.
