Keena of Fifty Fifty Drops Lawsuit, and Returns to Attrakt

BY Alec06 · October 16, 2023

Keena
, a member of the group Fifty Fifty, has submitted a withdrawal of her appeal to the court after changing her legal representative from law firm Barun to Shinwon. Following this, she reached out to her agency, Attrakt, with the intention of returning to the company.

Fifty Fifty, a four-member group, has been embroiled in a contractual dispute since June when they applied for the suspension of their exclusive contract with their agency. However, Keena's sudden decision to withdraw her appeal and express her desire to return to the agency has marked a turning point in the Fifty Fifty exclusive contract controversy.

Earlier this year, Fifty Fifty gained popularity with their single "Cupid," released in February, which made waves on charts like the U.S. Billboard and the UK Official Charts, earning them the title of "small to midsize miracle." However, on June 19, the members filed for the suspension of their exclusive contract against Attrakt, leading to a dispute with their agency.

While the court recently rejected the members' request for the suspension of their exclusive contract, they promptly appealed and even filed a full lawsuit, clearly stating that they would not return to Attrakt. However, with Keena changing her stance, there is now a keen interest in how the legal disputes related to Fifty Fifty will ultimately be resolved.
