Lee Kwang Soo freaks out after seeing a snake on 'Soy Beans, Red Beans', while EXO's D.O. picks it up with his hand to clear it away

The first episode of tvN's newest healing reality series, 'Soy Beans, Red Beans', brought great laughter to viewers with its fun and eccentric cast, including Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, EXO's D.O, and Kim Ki Bang!

On this day, these city boys traveled to a rural farm on the countryside to begin their adventures as budding farmers. After seeing the vast plot of land given to them, the cast members mainly Lee Kwang Soo complained that they knew nothing about farming, and that it was an impossible task to build such a huge farm from nothing. Kim Woo Bin instead suggested that they turn the field into a foot volleyball field. 

But soon, the cast members put their worries behind them and got changed. Their first task, plough furrows in the field for planting seeds!

While searching for efficient ways to plough the big plot of land, D.O. and Lee Kwang Soo discovered a small snake in the dirt! Lee Kwang Soo began freaking out, screaming, "It's a snake! It's a rattlesnake!", prompting the other cast members to run toward the commotion. 

On the other hand, D.O. sprung into action quickly by stepping on the snake with his boot. He leaned down carefully to grab the snake by its head, while Lee Kwang Soo continued to freak out as he shouted, "How can you just pick it up with your hands?". Noticeably nonchalant next to the screaming Kwang Soo, D.O. took the snake and released it in the backyard.

Even after its removal, Lee Kwang Soo could not calm down after the shocking(?) encounter with nature, commenting, "Such a dangerous animal is living in our country! It was baring its fangs at us! I could practically see its pockets of venom! If it weren't for Do Kyung Soo, we might all be dead."

Meanwhile, according to Nielsen Korea, the first episode recorded an average citywide viewership rating of 3.7%, and an average nationwide rating of 3.2%.
