Jeon Hye Jin then went on to talk about her life in her husband's shadow. "I'm an actress too, but people don’t recognize me on the streets. Everyone knows his face and voice, and so I'm left to manage all the household chores."
She also opened up about their domestic squabbles. "It’s irritating that I sometimes end up assuming traditionally male roles, which only exasperates Lee Sun Gyun further. I wish he would just say okay, but he gets agitated and says 'I said I'd do it, so I will.' Instead of reacting with aggression, I wish he would try to understand my perspective more."
When questioned by Lee Kyung Gyu about Jeon Hye Jin's infrequent appearances in dramas, Lee Sun Gyun chipped in, saying, "Our children are partly the reason. She isn’t keen on working in dramas. She even finds it unnecessary to contribute to the family income, other than me."
