First-generation idol, Jang Woo Hyuk of H.O.T. mourns the passing of his father

Jang Woo Hyuk, a former member of the first-generation idol group H.O.T., has lost his father. 

According to a report by Edaily on the 14th, Jang Woo-hyuk's father passed away at the age of 82. The wake is set up in a special room at the Gumi Jeil Hospital Funeral Home in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Jang Woo-hyuk, along with his two brothers, has taken up the role of chief mourner. The funeral is scheduled to be held on the 16th at 8:30 AM, with the burial at Gumi City Memorial Park.

Debuting in 1996 as a member of H.O.T., Jang Woo Hyuk has been actively pursuing a solo career. He released a new single 'FEEL IT' in March last year and met fans at the end of the year with the Christmas fan concert 'Blue Sunshine'.
