Wu Yifan, also known as EXO's former member Kris, a 33-year-old ex-A-list idol, has experienced a striking descent from fame, grappling with severe criminal charges.

Earlier in July 2021, he was arrested and detained, and in November 2022, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the combined charges of rape and organizing group licentious activities. Additionally, he was ordered to be deported. In November 2023, his appeal was rejected, affirming the original verdict.

On Tuesday, January 23, Wu Yifan's case took center stage at the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, where it was presented by the Chief Justice of the Beijing High People's Court as a notable example of severe criminal behavior. The details of the case were also disclosed during the proceedings.

According to the report, between November and December 2020, Wu Yifan took advantage of three intoxicated women in his residence, engaging in non-consensual sexual acts when they were either unable or unaware of resisting. Furthermore, on July 1, 2018, Wu Yifan, along with others, organized and participated in licentious activities involving two women after consuming alcohol at his residence.
